I have an investment thesis that Canada has excellent opportunities, (fortunately I have not followed that thesis with much money, else I would be down). But I track Canada, including with a news aggregator.
Isn’t it a funny coincidence, two news outlets are running the same base story? If anyone knows the source, (and I am still digging), please send it my way.
The Quartz story looks like news, including direct communications with the person mentioned by both stories. So it looks like this guy, Vikram Rangnekar, is doing an excellent job, of banging the drum with his blog, "This blog was featured in various top ranking print and media publications like The Times of India, Forbes, Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, IT World Canada and Startup Here Toronto."
My best guess is that he or part of his growing organization sent out a press release, I am on his blog, it is pretty well done.
